Sixers have been on an absolute tear recently. Embiid is playing like the best player in the league and has taken over the MVP Race, Maxey is cooking, and all-star snub James Harden is playing like the best PG in the league.

According to 538’s ELO model, the 76ers have a 28% to win the NBA Finals.

Has there ever been a player drafted from a small school with horrible record that turned out to be an elite star in the NBA?

6'9 G Emoni Bates of Eastern Michigan [8-23 overall] ended this season with a statement. Bates is a high level scoring wing/forward who brings an intensity a pro team will utilize.

He can score in a variety of ways due to his ability to put the ball in the basket at all three levels. He is dangerous pulling up from deep in transition and has range that extends past the NBA three. Bates has a quick trigger and shoots over defenders with ease. Comparsion could be Paul George or Kevin Durant.

He has a lot of hype but is there history that can back him up?

If you didn't support an NBA team, who do you really want to win this season's championship?

Me personally, even though the Suns annoy me, I really want CP3 to get a ring before he retires, same with Harden and Westbrook. The Kings would also be pretty cool considering they didn't make the playoffs for a million years.

With Miami’s loss in Chicago, the Boston Celtics have clinched a playoff spot for the 9th consecutive year. They’ve made the playoffs 15 of the last 16 years, 19 of the last 22. Since 2007-08, no NBA team has played, or won more playoff games than Boston.
