How naturally gifted do I have to be to be a great engineering student

I’m doing mechanical engineering next year and Im not the best at maths however I have a strong interest in cars and I’m highly motivated and will work really hard but I’m not very good at maths however I’m willing to put the work in to get better do I have a chance ?

Resources to stay knowledgeable?

I was wondering if anybody knew of any resources online that I could use to stay fresh on my ME knowledge?

I feel like ever since I graduated school a year ago, a lot of useful information has been leaving my head. I found a company on linked in that post a lot of helpful, real world content and wanted more resources like that without having to comb through the entire ANSI website.

books on free body diagrams

Can someone please suggest a good textbook with a detailed and comprehensive chapter on free body diagrams? The current physics/mechanics textbook that I have were a bit lacking. So if someone could make a suggestion please do so. Thank you!

Mechanical Properties of 6560 Aluminum?

Does anyone know where I can find the mechanical properties for the aluminum 6560-T6 alloy? I am attempting to update my ANSYS database for a side project, but have been unsuccessful in locating them so far (textbooks and online databases).

Any help would be appreciated!
