Absolutely. I actually wonder if he still might. If James goes to the local precinct and makes the report they could still pick him up. If they ask "well why didn't you stay" all he has to say is "Didja see the video? Dude was bonkers and I booked it before he got worse!"
Business owner was also lucky she didn't pick up a charge, you can't keep people locked in your building when they repeatedly tell you they want to leave.
