Implement numbering system for community approved CryptoCurrency Events.
On occasion some Project Developers and Notable people in the industry apply to run Community events such as AMA’s or Giveaways. This comes at the cost of burning moons but also gaining the communities approval beforehand, thanks to CCIP 043 and CCIP 047
This proposal is simply inspired by CCIP 017, to introduce a numbering system to more easily keep track of and formalise These community approved r/CryptoCurrency Events that have been held in the past and for the future. Upon discussion CCE (CryptoCurrency Events) was deemed an appropriately unique search string for this proposal.
In most cases once the Event is over and removed from the pinned posts, they are mostly never seen again. Considering that those who host these events have paid for the opportunity to do so, it would be fair to have a reference list of these events as an easy to find page in the Moons Wiki.
Although up to mod discretion, by definition of a CCE is where an external sponsor or gains approval via community vote to proceed with their event which burns moons in the process; as per CCIP43 and 47, however other events may be considered in future such as internally run trivia events where external sponsorship is accepted.
Although post titles can not be edited, I suggest CCE’s which required burning moons since CCIP-043 be included in the wiki page and future events continue on from that event numerically.
Once the project has gained community approval to go ahead, the Mods can assign a number for the post title in similar fashion as they do with governance proposals, example post title; CCE-069 This is DBRiMatt, lead developer of new DEX, DollaryDooSwap: AMA + $DDS Giveaway
Pros:
This helps formalise community events from project developers and support personnel
This helps provide users with a reference to more easily access previously held events
Provides more value for those who host CCE’s.
Cons:
It will be another task our almighty moderators will need to take on
Previously held events are unable to alter their post titles to be consistent with future events
What does my title mean for GME?
The wording in the bill (below) MEANS - after the government launches CBDC, every other form of crypto is BANNED, etc. It also means NFT's marketplace, be your own bank. etc. will be banned too.
While we are busy working, buying, hodl and DRS'ing. The politicians are hard at work to our detriment.
Everyone needs to do their part to kill bills like this. I'm having a heck of a time getting traction to kill it in MT.
This exact bill is in other states right now. In the link I listed below it shows you where to go to lookup if the bill is in your state. We need help in MT and other states. This crap is buried in a 150 page bill about uniform code revision...like all the other bills.
It made it out of the MT senate and will now go to MT house. If you are in MT (or not) and would like to help stop this bill, please contact me. The current legislation working through the system in Montana. Buried in a 150 page bill is (that has a ridiculous title - Generally revise uniform commercial code) :
" (y) "Money" means a medium of exchange that is currently authorized or adopted by a domestic or (15) foreign government. The term includes a monetary unit of account established by an intergovernmental (16)organization or by pursuant to an agreement between two or more countries. The term does not include an (17) electronic record that is a medium of exchange recorded and transferable in a system that existed and operated (18) for the medium of exchange before the medium of exchange was authorized or adopted by the government.
This year similar bills were successfully vetoed by Kristi Noem in SD, and AZ killed it as well. But other states aren't so lucky. We all need to fight these kinds of bills. We will not be able to do all the good we want or be our own bank. I suggest you find some watchdog groups in your state. One of the watchdogs in my state sent out a big alert. Take action in your state.
While the banking industry is burning (by design) to introduce CBDC...they are busy making sure we are stuck in their rigged system.
The language of the bill basically says that when the government says the dollar is invalid, and there is something to replace it, then that’s final an no one can resist it.
They are implementing it on a state level so there will be no wiggle room.
Montana’s bill is SB 370 and OPPOSE. If you do take action and call or email the committee, please be respectful and courteous. If you are not they throw away the messages.
The first link is from a sub stack dude that explains what is going on and what this bill means. All the bills going through right now for revision in UCC have the EXACT same wording. Go to minute 48 - 52 minutes. This will give the best explanation straight outta their own mouth. He specifically gives information on how Bitcoin is money by todays standards.
Lastly, another user Waldo, helped me with this. This CBDC bill is truly mind numbing. Thankful for Reddit being down for 4 hours because discord is how we connected.
My two cents. ALL CBDC bills need to be killed quickly and swiftly. I’m mad that it made this far in MT.

Crosspost from [Redacted], the original poster got me fired up to write to my senators and find the bill in Washington State. I re-wrote their post for Washington State, all credit for this write-up goes to the OP, I just found WA state's bill number. Very surprising this isn't being talked about more, but also understandable given how hard it was to find for WA state, let alone if I didn't have a lead it would be impossible. I can't comment under the OP's post, but figured this would be an even better way to spread the word about how to fight this in Washington State.
If you're looking for your own state's bills, search "revise uniform commercial code" in the active bills for your states legislature website and scroll through a few pages to find a "money" definition. cntl+f is a great tool :).
