I recently bought Killian Princess and Love Don't Be Shy samples. Just want to smell like a marshmallow and the reviews say it smells like it. The only problem is I live in a place where it's either raining or sunshine.

I was just wondering if they'll smell bad due to our hot humid weather. I usually lean towards juicy or floral scents like Burberry Brit Sheer and J'adore. Just wanted to try something new so I looked for sweet scents but realized it might not be compatible with our weather.

Some imaginary scents I made up for a class

Kind of a silly post, but for a class assignment, I imagined a collection of perfumes and spent way too much time choosing the notes, so I wanted to share them! I have no experience and don't claim to be an expert at ALL, but I tried to make scent profiles that I thought would smell good and match the image I was going for. I also did not reference existing perfumes while I was thinking of these, so if I accidentally ripped off an existing scent, whoops!!

Without further ado, here are the perfumes! I imagined a collection of five, with each one based on a famous work of Renaissance art:

The Birth of Venus- pear, clementine, rose, sea salt, marine notes, solar notes, and argan tree

Vitruvian Man- bergamot, apple, sage, crystal moss, amber, and cedar wood

David- apricot, cognac, anise, leather, Haitian vetiver, and vanilla

The School of Athens- grapefruit, olive, jasmine, eucalyptus, Italian cypress, sandalwood, and coffee

Cherub Playing a Lute- fig, cloves, pink pepper, rum, chestnut, caramel, musk, and tonka bean

The notes are roughly ordered going from top to heart to base, and one other aspect of these scents is that each one has at least one scent heavily associated with Italy. I had a lot of fun thinking up these scents, so I hope they sound appealing. If they sound like they'd smell terrible, well... I wasn't planning on becoming a master perfumer so it's fine!!!

Would any of you wear these scents? (Or be intrigued enough by the notes to try them once lol?)

Sauvage deodorant is embarrassingly bad.

First off, I know I’m an idiot for paying premium for a deodorant. But I decided to give it a try when I saw it listed online. After opening the package, it smelled exactly like Sauvage (shockingly), just slightly muted. So I applied some, and went about my day. About three or so hours later, I lifted up my arms, and caught a whiff of BO. It was if I didn’t apply any deodorant at all. So the next time I applied it, I really layered it on, giving it approximately 10 passes under each arm. However, the problem persisted, as after a few hours it was again as if I hadn’t applied any deodorant at all.

I usually use Old Spice, and have never encountered this problem. Even when I switch it up and try different brands, they always last all day. Are designer deodorants just complete garbage?
