My cousin passed away and his wife asked if there was a way to get his MacBook open so that she could retrieve the music he had produced on it.
A customer's business partner died, but her iMac was still with the company at the office and contained files the other partner needed.

I know Apple has a process where you can apply to have them help unlock a Mac of a deceased relative, but the Mac is also wiped in the process from what I understand.

Is there a tool on Kali that would work similar to how Chntpw works on Windows PCs?

Black screen after install

I install 32 bit Kali on my old laptop (latitude e6430). It appears when I turn on the laptop it says "Kali GUI/Linux". I click enter and it shows a kali logo picture with a bit of blue coming up from the bottom. It stops the blue thing and shows a black screen

Cyber Security on Mac ARM

Hi,

I am a Cyber Security student, and I want to purchase a Mac. However, upon more research,many individuals told me that ARM isn't very compatible with virtualisation. I suppose virtualisation is fine, but many have said that Kali Linux tools for hacking aren't available for ARM chips (M1,M2) and purchasing a windows laptop is a much better buy for Cyber Security. However, like I said, I really want a mac.

Can anyone in Cyber Security or hacking help me with this? Can I use an M1, M2 mac and do virtualisation and hacking (penetration testing etc.)?

Are there any real limitations? If so, can they easily be resolved?

Matebook x pro resolution issue

Hi guys, I have a Huawei matebook x pro, recently i've installet GNOME as default;before with Xfge and some configuration the resolution was quite good, not in RDP
