TLDR: listen to this on YouTube and tell me you don't want to cry / watch the movie.
It might not be as obscure of a movie as many of the others posted here, but damn is it underrated. In my humble opinion its actually one of the greatest movies of all time. Hits a ton of emotions like a freight train. Brilliant acting by everyone involved. Excellent pacing and story telling with a very bold midpoint. I don't want to call it a twist necessarily but it effectively thats what it is. It often feels like no one i know has seen it. And it's so surprising that it's not more well known because the director is somewhat well decorated from the limited work he's done, and it has a cast of major actors. Ryan gosling. Bradley Cooper. Eva Mendes. Ray Liotta. Ben medelshon(not sure of his last name tbh lol but you know him). Mahershala Ali. Oh well I'm getting more ranty than I wanted to but seriously it's an absolutely amazing movie. Even the frigging main theme is enough to make you cry.
