I've been in this subreddit for a while, I love here, everytime I post, most of you are super friendly with me. A few days ago I said here something about my problems looking for a group (my native language is spanish) and someone suggested to use Facebook groups for hispanic D&D players, and thought it was a good idea.

A few minutes ago I was talking with a DM, he was inviting me to his table. (Btw, I am a female, maybe that's not relevant now but believe me, it will be relevant later).

First, I said that I like DnD Beyond, I've been using it for years. He immediatly started to say all the bad things that you can imagine about DnD Beyond, that it is not intuitive, terrible, he hates it. He prefers Nivel20 and roll20 because those are in spanish (then I get it, he just doesn't know english) and because those are better in every posible way. Ok, it's okay to have different opinions, but you can express yourself without being an idiot about what the other person thinks. And I say, well, I guess we have different opinions. And he answers: You clearly don't know how to use roll20 or Nivel20 if you prefer DnD Beyond, but I've been using them for 2 years so I have the right to say what is good and what isn't.

What? So, I don't have a right to have an opinion about them. And I never said I don't know how to use them.

Second. I already said that that I have 6 years of experience with the game (5e) because he asked, but then, he says that he is going to send me a pdf that he created with all the rules that I need to know to play the game. I thought that maybe it would be about homebrew rules of his game, but no, basic rules for character creation and stuff like that. Dude, I know the rules better than I know myself.

Ah, and the document include his "DM CV" his story and his years of experience and I quote "If you want to experience a game with The Lord of The Dungeons, a profesional game director, the best storyteller, then I invite you to play with me."

Oh but it gets better, then he says that he is a paid DM, a very important detail that he should tell me first, he charges per session. Oohh but, guess what? I'm very lucky!! Because he is going to make an exception for me. He can have me in his table for free.

Hahahaha, oh my god. At this point I just don't want to answer anymore. But he keeps sending me messages and starts asking "So, I assume that with your experience you have played official campaigns, which ones?"

Yep, that was the end, I just closed facebook. That was more than enough.

I've been playing with my friends and in different tables for six years and yes, sometimes I experience some kind of different treatment from male players or dm's, but this guy just managed to be the worst in less than 10 minutes.
