/r/AMD has grown to the point where it's difficult to have in-depth discussions without constant trolling and derailment from Nvidia and Intel shills. /r/realAMD is place for hardcore PC enthusiasts to have AMD-related discussion. It's an invite only community, in which each reader is vetted based on their past contributions in PC hardware related subs. We are pro-consumer, not pro AMD. Fair and open competition is good for the consumer!

As the title suggests, when playing Battlefield 2042, users with the Radeon VII GPU crash with dx12 errors (something along the lines of "your GPU is no longer physically present in your system") if playing any game mode with the new specialists.

Oddly, portal games with bf3/bc2/1942 classes work without issue. I have even tried making an experience with new maps and vehicles with bf3 classes instead of specialists and that seemed to run without issue.

Please help bring this to DICE's attention.

Edit: seems this is 100% reproducible by playing Sundance and when you die the third person view of yourself crashes the game, refined bug report here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Radeon-VII-game-crashes-when-Sundance-specialist-is-on-the/m-p/10957119
