This is superb. It arrived this morning after I tried it on a strip in-store a couple of weeks ago. On my skin I can’t get enough of it. It’s so smooth, refined and luxurious - while retaining a legitimate Oud heart. It’s not a skanky or animalic vibe to my nose, and I think you’d call it ‘westernised’, but the Oud is more clearly defined than my favourite Oud Wood. I think it’s more complex too; it’s wrapped up in citrus, but to me it shares a fresh and creamy aspect with Oud Wood. This has the potential to supplant my beloved Tom Ford as my new favourite. Never thought I’d say that. Looking forward to seeing what the performance is like - how does it perform for you?
