Well, I wouldn’t be mad if Sasha did win, as it goes without saying that she is a top-tier performer and a legend in the community. She has been the best on the runway and has been consistent in the challenges (although I do think one or two of her wins have been questionable).

I guess for me, if I hadn’t known of Sasha’s legendary status outside of the show/only knew of her from the competition alone, I wouldn’t really be that excited about her. I don’t feel that any of her wins were real “standout” moments (except maybe the neck crack, although even that was kind of one-note) – ironically, I think her best moment was the challenge she didn’t win (the girl groups).

There’s just something missing for me – I don’t feel much of a connection to what she’s selling. All I really get from her is polish/perfection/professionalism, which are all great things to have, but not necessarily enough to captivate me. This is how I felt about Brooke Lynn Hytes (funnily enough, they are both Miss Continental winners). This is just my opinion though! I will say though that she is very talented, and she has been kind and humble throughout this process.

However, I really am rooting for Anetra to win – everything about her just screams star quality. The most impactful moments of the season have come from her: “walk that fucking DUCK”, the lip sync smackdown, the dress she made for the ball, the Boss Bitch lipsync, her touching story about her family… even the resting bitch face 😂 I also think she’s super relatable, and that “quiet confidence” she has is so compelling – choosing to save Spice over Jax was a “Boss Bitch” move 🤪 Her drag is also very unmistakably “Anetra”, and I love that scar she paints over her eye. She’s had the peaks and valleys necessary for a good storyline (and we know the producers love a storyline), but I’m hoping she manages to at least secure one more win to increase her chances of getting the crown.

Speculating a bit now, but if Anetra and Sasha make it to the top two, I actually think Anetra has what it takes to beat Sasha in a lip sync for the crown (if they still do that this year). Also, putting my producer hat on again, the producers would totally eat up that storyline – the up-and-coming star showing her progress from their first lip sync together and finally having what it takes to beat out the seasoned pro.

So, I could totally see Anetra winning this whole thing! What are your thoughts?
