The academic year starts amidst the biggest cost of living crisis in decades. Students face inflation, high tuition fees, rising energy bills, a housing crisis and unaffordable rents.
Socialist Worker Student Society (SWSS) will be building the resistance on campus this year, from strike solidarity to fighting the cost of living to opposing the racist hostile environment.
And we’re going to be holding events on campuses around the country for students to discuss socialist politics and get organised.
Capitalism means crisis. It offers us a future of pandemic, inequality, war and climate catastrophe. We need more students building the resistance and fighting for a socialist world.
