Bad closes

Hey guys, I just got promoted at my shop as shop manager. Which is exciting but now I’m the the person that has to correct people.

My employee had a horrendous close. And I’m not sure how to address this. Any advice?

Does it seem like Oatmilk has a low threshold for overpowering flavor?

I’ve noticed oatmilk works pretty well with coffee at low amounts. However there’s a critical point to where you’ve added way way too much. It pretty much suddenly annihilates the flavor of even very strong coffee. Obviously if you add too much of anything it will overpower the flavor but with oatmilk it seems like there’s a really sensitive spot where it just totally takes over the coffee. Have any baristas noticed this or am I insane?

Research on Disposable Lids for To Go Drinks

I am researching trends in disposable to go containers; and I am wondering if I can ask for this community's help (if allowed)?

Do you automatically put a plug in each lid or does the customer need to request a plug? Also, are there any specific rules about this at your shop?

Does your shop use lids that have the hinged plug tab built into the lid?

Is cost a driving factor?
