Switched careers and landed my first web dev job at the age of 33. I was unemployed for 2 years, learning all I could to prepare for the transition. In the end it took nearly 4 months of active job hunting to get a solid offer. In retrospect, I don't think I did too badly barring a couple of interviews.

I’m about to make a website for a client and might use stripe although I’ve seen a ton of “beware” posts on Reddit and what not. Is it as bad as people say with getting their accounts locked with thousands of dollars not being payed out? Just need to know incase something happens and the business owner doesn’t try and sue me. Any other alternatives would be appreciated also, thanks to any and all replies!
