I just finished the main story of Watch Dogs Legion, and am now completing the rest of the trophy list before going on to the DLC. In short, I wouldn't have bought it if I knew what state it is, and that they finished the updates only half a year after release. I am a fan of the Watch Dogs franchise, and hackers in media have always interested me. Sadly, Legion is not as fun as the other two games, and it is due to the uninspired and repetitive gameplay design.

I was hooked into the idea of "play as anyone", but due to the boring recruitment mission for each person, it felt like a slog. Also, there were barely any considerable differences between each person in the game. Some have unique skills which is useful, but unless the mission stated otherwise, I used Wrench and Aiden from the season pass, for the entirety of the game.

I think that WD:L did good with the cyberpunk atmosphere in its story, though not in its world. The map is small, bleak and not fun to look at. I know it is near future, but other than the drones and a few holograms, it could be entirely modern day London. Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 is way better both in story and map design in regards to nailing the cyberpunk aspect. The story is simple: stop 5 city organizations related to the Zero Day bombings, a huge terrorist attack that happens at the start of the game. This includes: a gang that uses mind control chips for slavery, neural mapping a human brain onto a machine, cop drones to disperse crowds, a city wide system to hold all personal data of each person and an AI named Bagley. Personally, I think Bagley was the only memorable part of the game.
