Embeds Terms of Use

Reddit's Embeds Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the Reddit Embeds service (“Embeds Service”). By embedding Reddit Content via the Embeds Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms as well Reddit’s User Agreement, Privacy Policy, Press & Broadcast Guidelines, and Brand Guidelines, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Embeds Service. If you are an individual representing an entity, you acknowledge that you have the appropriate authority to accept these Terms on behalf of such entity.

The Embeds Service generates a URL that you can copy and paste into your website or app to make Reddit Content visible on your website or app. “Reddit Content” includes text, links, graphics, photos, videos, or other materials submitted to or created on Reddit by its users.

Subject to these Terms, as well as all other applicable terms and guidelines, Reddit grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the Embeds Service. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Reddit.

Reddit’s Embeds Service is provided by Reddit as an accommodation only and is intended to be used only for embedding Reddit Content in websites and apps. Reddit assumes no responsibility and provides no warranty for your use of the Embeds Service. Nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to grant you any license, right, title, or interest in Reddit Content. You are solely responsible for using Reddit Content in compliance with the content owners' requirements or restrictions.

When using or accessing the Embeds Service, you must comply with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Please also review the Press & Broadcast Guidelines and Brand Guidelines, which are a part of these Terms and contain Reddit’s rules about representing and using Reddit Content in media and using Reddit assets. Use of the Embeds Service is also subject to the following restrictions and requirements:

• Do not use the Embeds Service for any purpose other than making Reddit Content visible on your website or app;
• Do not use the Embeds Service to facilitate the sale of access to Reddit or Reddit Content without Reddit’s prior written approval;
• Do not modify, alter, obscure, or disable any elements of Reddit Content made visible on your website or app through the Embeds Service;
• Do not embed Reddit Content in a way that implies partnership with, affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement by Reddit;
• Do not use the Embeds Service to display Reddit Content in advertisements or to imply endorsement of any product or service without explicit permission from the content owner; and
• If you receive notices or requests to remove content pursuant to the Reddit Content Policy, you will escalate these requests to Reddit via this contact form. You acknowledge and agree that Reddit may crawl or otherwise monitor your website or app for the purpose of confirming compliance with these Terms.
  

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Your continued access to or use of the Embeds Service will constitute your binding agreement to these Terms as amended. We may change, suspend, or terminate the availability of the Embeds Service at any time. In addition, Reddit reserves the right to restrict your access to and use of the Embeds Service at its sole discretion.
