I’ve been having some big and challenging realizations around my identity lately. It’s bringing up fear and grief and all the big feels, and for reasons I can’t come out to the people in my life. I’m so grateful to have a national treasure of a queer trans therapist I can talk to, but still — current mood: deep longing for an Olivia Colman hug. Sometimes it hurts to not have anyone to hug me and say, “Oh, baby. Thank you for telling me. I’m sorry if I ever made you feel like you couldn’t tell me that. I love you.” Or, even any single part of that. Going to rewatch that scene a few (dozen?) times.
