I’m probably late but TBH, I didn’t have Tiktok.
So it took until this weekend when this Buzzfeed article from 8 months ago finally randomly found its way into my facebook feed for me to discover this lady. And if you can get over the “unnecessary inter-generational sass” and snarky side commentary that Buzzfeed writers love to interject and just look at what she recommends, it’s actually some pretty good stuff about updating millennial fashion (or as I know it, basically what I’ve been wearing since I started working in 2011).
And very wearable for our age (not saying anything anything is “age restricted,” just that I sometimes encounter 19 year olds at college sports games and some of the outfits are definitely never going to be a thing for me.) Nothing in these videos is super trendy or hasn't been around for a few years (long line blazers, for example), which also makes me feel more comfortable with trying it because I'm not at "microtrend fast fashion" stage of my life either. Just need to come out of 2014.
Anyways I liked her suggestions, signed up for tiktok, watched the rest of her videos and found it all practical and helpful so thought it was worth a sharing. Hopeful someone else here will find it helpful!
