But at the same token...

The last episode with Lil Bit's funeral was sad, but not surprising, since her death was talked about in this sub back when it happened. At the time it was debated how old the dog really was because Amy's various Social Media posts claimed the dog was 22 and that seemed far fetched.

Watching the episode, where Amy and Michael are doing guesstimates on her age on camera, you can see where they came up with this number (whether correct or not), Michael was saying he got the dog after his father's death and I'm assuming his Dad died in or near 2000 based on Amy's SM posts last year listing the dogs birth and death years.

But... hold up a minute, we learn in this episode about Lil Bit being Michael's dog first and later becoming Amy's when they started dating (re-dating?) and eventually got engaged.

In the past on this sub, people had found a video Q&A with Tammy, as well as other forums that said that Lil Bit was given to them as an adult dog, rather than being raised from a puppy and that her name before they (or more likely specifically just Amy) adopted her was Little Bitch, but they changed it to Little Bit, which eventually became Lil Bit or just Lil.

In those comments from other forums, which were based on people having followed the Slaton sisters years before the TL show even aired, they made it sound as if it was a woman that gifted the dog, so it was interesting to find that Lil Bit was Michael's originally.

This poses both a question and an observation:

  1. Why change her name when 'Bitch is the sisters favorite greeting?

  2. Michael isn't very adept at naming pets.

to be honest I don't know how I feel about this - I guess I am just a bit bewildered...after gastric bypass surgery~ she is with her husband on tic toc asking not to be judged for promoting the snack reviews - they are both in wheelchairs and on oxygen during the 3-part tasting review done from the live-in bariatric facility
