He got his big break in Orlando where he broke out as a star but his teammate Grant Hill who was going to lead this next era of the Magic with him had career altering injuries which resulting in him only playing 46 games in those 4 years.

While Tracy was on the Magic they struggled to give him any help or star power to make up for Grants decline. He either had below average role players or washed up stars from the past like Shawn Kemp. Effectively wasting his prime and never making it past the 1st round.

Because of his situation in Orlando he demanded a Trade resulting with him landing in Houston with young star Yao Ming. This duo was very promising and had some dominant performances in the regular season going on a 22 game win streak. Unfortunately Yao and TMac were riddled with injuries. Tracy started facing his first serious injuries of his career with many back problems while Yao struggling with feet injuries that completely cut his career short at just 30 years old. Never making it past the 1st round once again.

These injuries completely derailed his career and now being in his mid 30s he did a lot of team hopping. Fast forward to 2013 he signed with the Spurs as a last resort to win a ring. Playing in a total of 6 playoff games but ultimately not doing much. The Spurs ending up losing to the Lebron lead Heat in 7 with the infamous Ray Allen shot in game 6.

And to put the cherry on top the Magic drafted Dwight Howard the same summer Tracy left. Which would have been star he always needed besides him.
