[MEGATHREAD] You are not your ADHD. History and society have not been kind with their stereotypes and assumptions, but WE SEE YOU. At Done., our mission is to support anyone who is challenged by ADHD and make sure no one is left behind.
TL;DR: ADHD: A four-letter acronym that stands for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Across our society and throughout modern history, it has also come to represent harmful stereotypes, debilitating assumptions, and unconscious bias. Our mission is to empower everyone living with ADHD to reach their fullest potential.
Unchecked and untreated, ADHD can be a struggle and have a negative impact on everything from a person’s social skills to their productivity in a professional environment. While the condition itself is considered very common, with more than 3 million cases now diagnosed annually in the U.S. alone, the treatment opportunities for ADHD are anything but common.
At Done., first we want to eliminate the stigma and confusion or isolation around ADHD and empower anyone to receive the help they need to live up to their fullest potential. We provide awareness and education for people to learn more, confidential and accurate medical diagnosis through telehealth, and actionable ways to receive immediate treatment.
We’ve also hired some of the most esteemed and board-certified expertsin the industry to collaborate and tackle ADHD together. Their wisdom and experience has allowed us to build a robust online platform that infuses efficiency with effectiveness. We put the patient’s needs first and seek to provide a stable scaffolding during their entire journey with us.
We meet our mission by providing a patient-first, technology-powered ADHD treatment. At Done., we use groundbreaking technology to support the online ADHD diagnosis process.

Submissions that match (or echo similar sentiments to) ideas offered by other people will be removed, regardless of whether or not those ideas have appeared on Reddit. Blatant reposting and plagiarism may result in a ban.»
Personal perspectives, crazy ideas, questions (rhetorical or otherwise) and meta submissions are not showerthoughts, and would be better suited to other subreddits. For an in-depth explanation of what a showerthought actually is (and is not), please read this page.
You may include examples, explanations, or further information in the body section, but all posts to /r/Showerthoughts must stand on their own as nothing but a title.
Thoughts directly related to being in the shower (or anything related to the bathroom) will be removed.
While showerthoughts may be humorous in nature, posts which are explicitly comedic should be kept to other subreddits. Puns and wordplay are similarly disallowed, as are submissions which are focused on definitions, mechanisms, or oddities in language.
