In this young, active, and creative city, you will never get bored of the stunning architecture, interesting theme parks, and restaurants offering gourmet food from all over the world.
Shenzhen is also a sleepless city.
At night, the view of the downtown area is possibly more beautiful than it is in the daytime.
There are also countless bars and clubs for you to enjoy at night.

This is our apartment tour. We've been living in Shenzhen, China since the end of November 2020. We have a three-bedroom + two-bathroom unit(unfortunately we don't have the square footage). All major furniture and appliances were provided by the school Davon teaches at and is technically their property.
We did purchase the counter-top oven off of Taobao. Most of everything that we've ever ordered has been from Taobao :). We also did not mention the cost of rent because room-and-board is included in Davon's benefit package. Typically in this area, something this size would go for 18,638RMB per month(or ROUGHLY $2,680/month). There's really a wide range.

Futian District (simplified Chinese: 福田区; traditional Chinese: 福田區) is one of the nine districts comprising the city of Shenzhen, People's Republic of China. The district is home to the government and Municipal Committee of Shenzhen, as well as the city's central business district (CBD).
The Central Business District of Shenzhen is a planned development project that began in the early 1990s. Located within the Futian district, it comprises an area of 607 hectares. The four sides of the district are delineated by Binhe Dadao, Lianhua Road, Xinzhou Road and Caitian Road.
Many office high-rises and government buildings are located in the CBD, some of which are prominent buildings in Shenzhen, such as the Shenzhen City Hall (Civic Center), Shenzhen Library, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Shenzhen Development Bank building and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Located directly north of the CBD is Lianhuashan Park.
There are numerous skyscrapers in the CBD such as the SEG Tower, China Merchants Bank Tower, the twin towers of East Pacific Center, and the 600 m (1969 ft) Ping An Finance Center, which is the second tallest building in China and the fourth tallest in the world.
Wal-Mart China has its headquarters in Towers 2 and 3 of SZITIC Square in Futian District.
The headquarters of OnePlus is in the Tairan Building in Chegongmiao , Futian District.
Everbright International has its Shenzhen Offices in Oriental Xintiandi Plaza in Futian District.
The hotel chain Vienna Hotels formerly had its headquarters in Lüjing Garden, Futian District.

Futian District (simplified Chinese: 福田区; traditional Chinese: 福田區; pinyin: Fútián Qū; Jyutping: fuk1tin4 keoi1) is one of six districts comprising the city of Shenzhen, People's Republic of China. The district is home to the government and Municipal Committee of Shenzhen, as well as the central business district of the city.

There are two arguments concerning the origin of the district's name:
History
Luohu District was established in April 1979, one month after Shenzhen was promoted to city status. Futian, and another area called Fucheng (附城), became communes within the Luohu District.

The Central Business District of Shenzhen is a planned development project that began in the early 1990s. Located within the Futian district, it comprises an area of 607 hectares. The four sides of the district are delineated by Binhe Dadao, Lianhua Road, Xinzhou Road and Caitian Road.
Many office high-rises and government buildings are located in the CBD, some of which are prominent buildings in Shenzhen, such as the Shenzhen City Hall (Civic Center), Shenzhen Library, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Shenzhen Development Bank building and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Located directly north of the CBD is Lianhuashan Park.
There are numerous skyscrapers in the CBD such as the SEG Tower, China Merchants Bank Tower, the twin towers of East Pacific Center, and the 600 m (1969 ft) Ping An Finance Center, which is the second tallest building in China and the fourth tallest in the world.
Wal-Mart China has its headquarters in Towers 2 and 3 of SZITIC Square in Futian District.
The headquarters of OnePlus is in the Tairan Building in Chegongmiao , Futian District.
Everbright International has its Shenzhen Offices in Oriental Xintiandi Plaza in Futian District.
The hotel chain Vienna Hotels formerly had its headquarters in Lüjing Garden, Futian District.

This is our apartment tour. We've been living in Shenzhen, China since the end of November 2020. We have a three-bedroom + two-bathroom unit(unfortunately we don't have the square footage). All major furniture and appliances were provided by the school Davon teaches at and is technically their property.
We did purchase the counter-top oven off of Taobao. Most of everything that we've ever ordered has been from Taobao :). We also did not mention the cost of rent because room-and-board is included in Davon's benefit package. Typically in this area, something this size would go for 18,638RMB per month(or ROUGHLY $2,680/month). There's really a wide range.

Futian District
Futian District (simplified Chinese: 福田区; traditional Chinese: 福田區; pinyin: Fútián Qū; Jyutping: fuk1tin4 keoi1) is one of six districts comprising the city of Shenzhen, People's Republic of China. The district is home to the government and Municipal Committee of Shenzhen, as well as the central business district of the city.
Name
There are two arguments concerning the origin of the district's name:
History
Luohu District was established in April 1979, one month after Shenzhen was promoted to city status. Futian, and another area called Fucheng (附城), became communes within the Luohu District.
