I've been eyeing something like this - https://www.amazon.com/RBX-Exercise-Wheels-Core-Strength/dp/B087T9QHC4/ - With the idea of using it not only for abs, but as a way to do "sliding pushups". Instead of pushing up and down, to roll my arms open and close against the floor.

I imagine that opening and closing the arms would make the "pushup" use a much wider range of muscles than just up and down.. It's like having the pushups with arms close, and arms far, all in one exercise.

Anyone try to do something like this? Is it more effective than pushups? Any suggestions of a good set of such wheels?
