It feels like players will say nice things about him just because they feel they have to, but for the most part it is really coded and it is like, “We don’t mess with this guy. He’s not someone we fear or really respect.”

Zach brought this point up after discussing Gobert’s flagrant 2 ejection and Gobert’s recent comments about Embiid potentially joining Team France on the Athletic NBA Show.

Jaylen Brown is quietly averaging 27.0ppg/7.0rpg/3.5apg on 61.4% TS. That is a career high in every category. Will he make All NBA?

Everything except his 3pt% is as career high. If he can keep this level of play up, will he make All NBA?

For reference, last year Devin Booker averaged 26.8/5.0/4.8 on 57.6% TS and made All NBA First Team. I don't think JB has a shot for First Team just because of how stacked is but he should get consideration for Second Team IMO

Anthony Davis is at least a Top 10 Player in the NBA

I argued with people in this sub weeks ago that AD was still a borderline Top 10 player, and so many people were writing him off. Even before this recent hot streak, AD has been carrying our defense since last year while leading the league in points per game in the paint at times.

This year, from the start of the season and even before the hot streak, he was one of 4 players to average at least 20-10 (the others being Giannis, Embiid, and Jokic).

This recent hot streak simply catapults him from borderline Top 10 to once again entering the conversation with Giannis, Embiid, and Jokic as the league's best big man. Of course, being a Laker fan, I hope he keeps this up, especially since it appears that LeBron has taken a back seat and handed the keys to AD
