All covers suck. Covers are for amateurs. It's not any good until the 2nd artist makes it theirs and at that point it's a reinterpretation, not a cover. Do you actually think jazzers playing standards are all covers? When you call it a cover you insult the reinterpreter by negating all of their work that they put into it to make it theirs.
