$1300 at all the usual suspects (DXE, HRO, Gigaparts). it's in stock now. If the receiver is as good as the FTDX10 that's probably a good deal. I'm mulling over trading up from an FT-991A

IC-7300, FT-991A (also does VHF/UHF), FTDX10, FT-710 (brand new this month), FT-891.

Lots of used radios on the market too.

i'd venture to say that QRP is mostly useful if you a) know CW or b) only want to do digital modes. SSB is pretty frustrating at QRP in my experience (not a lot)

Google is so fickle that no one really trusts the longevity of any service they provide outside of search, and I guess GMail.

interesting hack. I've heard of people doing something similar so they can lock expensive camera gear in transit.

are flare guns 50-state legal? I know there's issues with standard handguns depending on the state/jurisdiction you're flying to.

fast food sucks now. used to be a guilty pleasure, now it's not worth the hassle and expense. costs too much and the employees are paid too little, so it just leaves everyone disappointed

sure, but using the wrong term pollutes search results and otherwise makes people think there's no difference.
