For people living in DC area will the Commanders game block us from watching this game?

2/3rds of this sub should be stripped of their fandom.

For the team to even be able to make that a game was impressive

You can really tell who’s been around a while smh

Good showing from the C team. Hopefully Lamar doesn’t miss much time.

Seriously, we are an 8 win team that has no business being an 8 win team. I'll take it given the circumstances of the season.

Say what you will about this season, but John Harbaugh always has his teams fighting to the end no matter what.

That is fine with me. I thought I would give it a try for preseason and see what everyone thought. I will go back to the traditional game threads moving forward.

Is it different depending on what type of device you are using? I found that it worked really well on desktop... The live function felt similar to twitch chat.

Only about 25% of people use New or Old Reddit on a desktop/laptop. The other 75% of people are using mobile web or apps which may shows it differently.

We will go back to the original style of game threads moving forward. I wanted to try it out for a preseason game and the overall consensus was a clear no.

This is where I’m at. I really love the trade except for the 2nd rounder gone. I’m thinking it’s possible we try to trade up with our 2 first round picks now (possibly for a falling WR), but who the hell knows.

I could also see the Ravens trading the 31st pick to a team that is trying to get back into the first round to stock pile more draft picks, especially if they think the draft is deep.

i'll answer this from the heart.. in terms of how it feels? difficult to pinpoint. i am a former smoker of around close to 20 years who quit 4 years ago through vaping, i still vape. i have weight issues and am definitely at a point health wise where if i get the virus i would think that i may likely not survive. so as a heavy set person from that perspective having the shot gives me a little sense of security, however false it maybe.

i understand that if anything it maybe buys me time? like it keeps the virus at bay because i have the shot but as a now 10 year hospital worker i have come to realize that there are no quick fixes and no magic pill that keeps the trouble that is eventually going to come from not being healthy. i see all manner of patients on my floor and in the end all it comes down to is a human being laid on the hospital bed alone going through x number of various things because ultimately in the end sometimes things happen to you without your control and sometimes we place ourselves into situations where we become at severe risk for having something bad happen.

so from that aspect while internally i guess as a big guy there's a little relief there like ok maybe i have a shot to now not catch this thing because god forbid if i did catch it pre shot based on my co-morbidities there's maybe 80 - 100 percent chance i'd be in major trouble.

i have my two senior parents with me who also have many health issues so they fall into high risk category. i have a sibling who came back into town to have her baby so we have a brand new baby in our home so those dynamics give me relief that at least i have gotten my shot and my parents/sibling/new baby will be safe.

ultimately in the end i think as a heavy person i am doing my best to try and just get my head out of this funk i have become glued to and get my health back in order. sometimes i think oh i got the shot i'll be ok but then when you work at a hospital you quickly realize that there is no magic bullet so to speak that can save you if you do not place yourself in a position where you are healthy. and i also realize that i have been working at a hospital for ten years and i should have made lifestyle changes the first year i started working at a hospital and started seeing just how devastating things can be when a person falls ill so it speaks to other mental struggles i guess.

i think for the mass populace of people this should be a wake up call if you are not healthy to try and make the kind of lifestyle changes you need to that will at least give you a "fighting chance" when a health issue befalls you. i am doing my best in that regards but i mean life is struggle. you fall you get up you fall you get up but after a certain age the getting up is not so easy anymore so i am doing my best to realize that i am getting to the age where the getting up is not gonna be easy so to wrap up your question if anything has changed it's i am trying to get my health back in order and hopefully i will succeed.

If you want to get healthier, in my opinion, focus on your food.

Step 1: Track what you eat for one week.

Don't count calories or anything. You don't need to even eat too differently. Just write down on your phone or on paper what you eat each daily for a week.

Extra credit if you try and go for a 30 minute daily walk for at least 3 days. It can be a 30 minute walk, two 15 minute walks, or any other breakdown that works.

It's all about the little changes.

Key to the game: Pressure Joe Burrow early and do not let him get into any rhythm

I don't want any rookie Mitchell Trubisky flashbacks today.
