My reaction to that sub in the past day:

Reminds me of this story i heard about the cuban missile crisis:

Forenote: I am unsure of the vailidity of this story. Feel free to chime in on whether or not it's legit.

An American reconnaissance plane flew over Cuba and got shot down. Someone had to tell the American people that the recon plane wasn't shot down, and that a bird got sucked into the engine, causing a mechanical failure that killed anyone onboard the plane at the time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duzqqHbJNWE - podcast in question, listen from 6:25 onward.

I don't want a "trust me bro" from a podcaster, but if anyone can provide us with documents that state the actual documents with the actual figures, that would be great.

With regards to liquidations - for those of you who are not familiar with the derivatives market: there are some simple options (literally more like "bets") you can make with some exchanges where you place a bit of money on the line and say, "Hey, I bet the price of bitcoin will be above 19k on November 30th, 2022." Now imagine someone made that bet on November 1st of this year, when we were all mostly unaware of the situation of what was going on with FTX.

I think it's possible that this is where our next leg down could be, and this is not financial advice. So, as per the title of the thread does anyone have a source that shows the actual outstanding debt from FTX and their conglomerate of companies?

I'm in a twitter space with mario Nawfal, Charles hoskins, Kim Dotcom, and a lot of other people where they are covering all of this live.

https://twitter.com/MarioNawfal/status/1591797754526851072 tweet deleted, this is the newest one: https://twitter.com/marionawfal/status/1591803227003129858?s

please take all of the information that is coming in now with a grain of salt. Nothing has been confirmed by relevant parties yet.

In the words of the twitter space host, as well as the person who tweeted that information, he is stating live "There are a lot of indicators that CDC is safe."

If there is a goal, it is clear: nefarious actors are trying to create a run on CDC either with hacked funds or without funds and just trying to screw with our heads.

Don't panic, stay calm, don't do anything irrational. Last I checked, the Eth funds transferred from CDC to gate were sent by mistake and all funds have, essentially, been returned. However, something about all of this doesn't sound 100% legitimate.

EDIT: CZ is about to join the space. I'll deliver live-reports through further edits if there is more relevant information.

EDIT 2: CZ joined. kim dotcom asked about regulatory licensing. Talks about his licensing with Paxos, and explains that BUSD is NOT ISSUED BY BINANCE, it is issued by Paxos because they have an NYDFS license and is one of the best groups to go through for issuing assets.

EDIT 3: The spaces host is getting requests from politicians and ex chief-of-staff members (advisers to presidents).

EDIT 4: there's too much shit to cover and I'm tired. I need a break, I'm going to get some sleep.

It's not definitely not safe to be on any CEX right now and that's why guys hold your keys. "Not your keys, not your coins". In my experience, I think MEXC is pretty good in terms of security and liquidity on perpetual futures. I'll be sticking to it for my day trading.

The market is always ready to panic sometimes, methinks. I'm going to have to listen or read that AMA you listed though, because if CDC controlled that wallet, they wouldn't have needed to ask for Gate to return it, right?

Ok, so after finishing the AMA it seems they sent it to a "trading wallet" that they could hypothetically control, but now I see why they had to ask Gate to return it.

How does Xi Jinping expect Taiwan to "reunify" with China when he cannot "unify" with people in "non-renegade" provinces of China?
