Here’s what I could find- the site for the game has a little info: “Fun drone racing competitions through outerworld courses. Community input in the game-development every step of the way. Royalties and incentives for map creators. One token that all players can earn. These features make for nonstop gameplay, real user ownership, and truly sustainable rewards.”

So I’m thinking this means that players will be rewarded as noted above with an Algorand ASA (asset, similar to a token) to incentivize play, map creation, etc. This would probs also include NFTs of drones based on the context of “real user ownership” so you could maybe sell/trade your in-game drones or gear.

I agree with you. I’ve never experienced a play-to-earn or blockchain game I wanted to engage with, or felt that blockchain additions enhanced a game. I’ll wait and see how the mechanics work on this before I commit to it. But gameplay at least looking decent is a good start.

It’s been teased for awhile but this is the first trailer I’ve seen. Still a little hard to tell what’s actual gameplay footage. But it looks way more like a real video game than most blockchain games I’ve seen up until now.

It was a shame to see it deleted - awesome info. The reasoning was pretty odd. But I think the other prob was that Algo influencers (Michael Jordan) had linked to it from Twitter, which breaks the cc sub rules. I’m still bullish on Algo and glad to see the data before it got removed.

Saw some of this data on the Algo sub yesterday. It’s impressive, and validates what I experience every time I use Algo - it’s fast, easy, feels like what crypto should be.

Too many people still view all crypto as magic internet money. Especially (but not as a rule) the older generations who often have larger capital to invest. That said, institutions are offering on-ramps all over the place- my elderly father-in-law bought some Bitcoin on his credit union’s portal. It’ll happen.
