To be honest I hadn't even heard of FTX before this. Coinbase, Binance and Kraken are surely far better known.

An infinite number of shitcoins can be created. Almost all with phantom market caps. All of them leeching on Bitcoin.

Everyone in Bitcoin then knew Mt Gox. I hadn't heard of FTX before this.
