There will always be people who will fall for scams. Scamming can come in many forms ike you said and I hate to admit I have been a victim of a few here when I joined. I initially believed these 'influencers', tried p2p games all because of greed, FOMO and stupidity.

Luckily, I persevered and studied more and researched more and now I consider myself more mature on how I approach investing at crypto. This sub helped on that in many ways.

It simply means Binance has more users but values of their portfolio in the exchange is less than what Coinbase users put in.

A couple factors I can think of:

Binance has more trade products, nft and earn functions. Therefore engaging more site visits.

Coinbase has more institutional investors.

But it does not have to make sense.
