It's a great point. If there's a Christian heaven, I wonder what Saint Peter will say to him when he presents at those gates.

Not bad, I wonder how many people he actually killed with his COVID response. Thanks for pointing that out!

My parents did too, rural Missouri. My dad, being my dad, had a 50 gallon oil barrel that he'd cut triangles into along the bottom to "promote airflow". This made sense but it didn't burn hot enough for him so he modified the barrel. He added 3/4 rebar rods across the bottom to protect the 2 inch EMT conduit he bent for an additional source of air. The conduit blew from under the rebar and bent out to several feet from the barrel which was now mounted on cinder blocks. Of course airflow IS airflow so dad hooked up his leaf blower to it, loaded the barrel up with trash and got it going pretty well before he turned on that leaf blower. The flames were at least 10 high out of that barrel the several times I saw him run that thing, He had another welded 3/4 rebar mesh that he threw on top of it when he had it going good.

Literally the only thing that we could not burn in that burn barrel was diapers. A wet diaper laid on top of that upper mesh would just sit there, the paper would burn away mostly but the absorbent material wasn't even hot somehow. We did this several times, trying to burn my kids diapers but when we knocked the damn things off the top we could pick them up immediately after they fell to the ground. Amazing physical properties and I hear that fire fighting gear has a gel layer as well these days based on that absorbent material. I may be wrong about that though.

I legume you meant that in the kindest way.

Lets create a slasher! by AcadecCoach in horror

[–]PeliUncertain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The werewolves are a pack that are trying to escape NYC and gangs are after them.

EDIT - you see a youthful werewolf lost track of time and changed just as a new gang member (the leaders son of course) was being brought in to the gang via having to beat up and steal from a stranger. They meet in the alley and the youthful werewolf kills the gang leaders son which causes him to unite all of the gangs in order to go after the wolves. The youthful werewolf runs home to his pack and they decide to flee across the city.

In my town there is a pole at Walmart that has been hit at least 45 times now that I know of. by frigginnathan in IdiotsInCars

[–]PeliUncertain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's another hero here though, the store keeps reinstalling the pole! It's clearly damaged many times and yet they put it right back where it was before. And it's not the store that's doing this, they have someone on call, they have to since asphalt steel and concrete don't just install themselves or heal. This is a symbiotic relationship that we should be honored to bear witness too! It's a motherfucking SAGA man! Someone at the store has to call Bob right? "Yo Bob, we need you over here again." and Bob comes, Bob probably has a fixed rate, an install kit and a protocol in place as well. $475.50 gets you a new posthole dug, the pole dropped in place, cement at the base and asphalt to cap it off. Additional charges include reflectors, lights, sirens, proximity sensors and stuff like that, the store doesn't appear to take Bob up on those extras all that often though they did go with the "cement layer" approach on a couple of occasions.

OP I think that you should write a coffee table book and include Bob, the store, the history, interviews and your striking imagery. I would contribute to the Kickstarter starting tomorrow!

I was a kid when Jonestown happened but I saw the news, I read the stories and I eventually listened to the tape. I absolutely hate people that use the phrase "drink the coolaid" in an offhanded way because the event was one of the more traumatic things that happened to people that I've lived through. It's incredibly sad, exploitative and vastly depressing how Jim Jones caused the deaths of all of those people but it shows how easy it is to manipulate people and that's exactly what trump does, manipulate people. I don't think that he could direct them into a mass suicide event but I do think that he's put them on such a hair trigger that we could see mass killing events because of him - more of them I mean. So, personally, I think that this meme is inaccurate but I absolutely get the point that its trying to make.

I didn't search but I probably hit the continue watching version instead of the file itself like I thought I did. Yeah, add me that complaint list!

Neither do I but perhaps I was confused and used Continue Watching rather than directly pulling up the series itself, crap, I'm old and might have done that. Thanks, this is a shit move on their part but knowing that they are doing it helps a lot. Thanks!

I also don't have any service other then my own files pinned.

I didn't search, I opened my tab for television, scrolled to my copy of the series and picked the episode I wanted to watch. I don't use live TV at all through Plex.

This was a set of ads that popped up during an episode of Hannibal that I have on my local NAS. One set was 6 ads, the next was 8 and the last was 10. I played my local episode file, I don't even have a tab for external content. So, no, it's not a setting I turned on, it was not a trailer, it was pushed ads with the word 'ad' in the corner of the screen, a warning that ads were coming and then the ads that counted down. I did not click any setting that would request ads, why on earth would I ever do that?
