This community is for people who want the Novavax vaccine either for yourself or your children, to discuss news about it, gather information, spread awareness, and to find where to get it. This has nothing to do with the NVAX stock. Nothing here is to be taken as medical advice. Always verify information instead of taking it at face value. If you think something is misinformation, report it and/or combat it with good information.

Hi Everyone,

This is u/Blueredant again……

I just received a shocking phone call today…..

Apparently I was notified by a novavax vaccine provider that one of my novavax primary series vaccines was done in “error”, as it was stored as “frozen” (with the mrna vaccines) instead of “refrigerated”, which is considered as “error” as novavax as a protein based vaccine is not supposed to be frozen, according to novavax manufacturer guidelines..

This was an isolated incident though, and luckily only affected a few people in my area….

So to rectify this situation, I have been offered to get a “corrected” novavax dose to make up for the “frozen” and “invalid” novavax dose that I received before…

And yes, this incident has been filed with VAERS, along with the relevant medical information and side effects that I had with my novavax primary series.

As for me getting a “corrected” dose of novavax, to make up for the non-viable second dose, I would consider that as my husband and I think that I should have the “fully vaccinated” novavax series and thus be fully protected from covid.

Ironically, I think that by getting this extra ‘third’ (early booster, perhaps) novavax dose, it would sort of be like a ‘booster’ dose for me, as I am supposedly due for a bivalent booster in November anyways, and I can’t get a mrna vaccine due to my body sensitives.

Personally I think that the frozen novavax that I got in error before would actually work better than a refrigerated novavax, as frozen stuff seems to last longer than refrigerated stuff. But again, I don’t know for sure, as protein based vaccines are not usually deep-frozen and I am not a scientist and there have been no studies done on what exactly a “frozen novavax’ can do to one’s body….

So to have an extra monovalent novavax (third dose unintentional booster), 8 weeks after my second completed dose in the primary novavax series, should be an interesting experience, as this has never been done before in the USA……

Lol….I swear the novavax moth gods are taunting me again…….first the records mix up and now the vaccine mix up……I swear I am in this novavax adventure for quite awhile…..

What do you all think about this, novaxxers?

Should I get a “third” “corrected” dose of novavax asap?

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, encouragement, would be of help……..Thanks in advance……

I've heard enough people say that Novavax is only tuned for one variant and that makes the Bivalent better but that's simply not true... Novavax fights every variant and I explain why.

My next article is tackling mucosal immunity and why getting three shots is so important by explaining why some vaccines create mucosal immunity and some don't.

https://donford.substack.com/p/america-has-finally-decided-to-start

My previous article from last February about Long COVID changed how we talked about Long COVID... It's been read almost 100k times and is the current most comprehensive article on the mechanics of COVID and Long COVID.

https://donford.substack.com/p/riskoflongcovid

I have a number of articles and mountains of data as to why Novavax is better and I've been helping people get it for months already. It alone won't likely end the pandemic, but it gets us very close.

We also have mountains of data showing that a mix-and-match response is just as strong as a normal one, which also includes ample safety data showing it is as safe as any other vaccine.
