Tim David added at least 20 metres to how far he could hit sixes in batting sessions that broke cricket's traditional mould, much as Bryson DeChambeau challenged golf orthodoxy. A candid chat with David and his coach Jim Allenby on #T20WorldCup eve

Fabulous rearguard century by Brathwaite, plenty of positive intent amongst the solid defence. But he loses Blackwood with 10 minutes before stumps, snapped up at short leg #AUSvWI

It's funny how whenever Lyon bowls a bit wider of off stump in Australia he tends to get a wicket with his drift, bounce and threat to turn back. Should do it more often #AUSvWI

Wanna know why the is so important? Even five years ago, I’d rarely see junior girls cricket even in bigger cities. Today, I’m in a small town where the population is less than the attendance at the WBBL final, and there is a junior girls, like U12s maybe, game being played

Pat Cummins won't be out on the field when West Indies begin their chase, he has right quad soreness and is being monitored. Steve Smith to captain in his absence #AUSvWI

This England have already done a lot of things that everyone will remember. Winning matches and series on Pakistan pitches *can* require more mundane stuff.

Lot of talk about the pitch in Pindi. England have done everything they can to shift the game on, but could end up bowling for 9 of the last 11 sessions of the match and still draw. Given what that may do to their bowlers, it could be a masterstroke for Pakistan (if not viewers)

Mitch Marsh and Phil Salt both out of the BBL. Marsh needs ankle surgery with a view to returning for the Aust white ball series in India in late March. Salt has not shaken off the shoulder injury he picked up diving in the MCG outfield in the last Aust v England ODI

As Lara then Tendulkar entered their mid-30s, they found a 2nd wind. For Lara, 56 Tests, 5820 runs at 58.78. Tendulkar, 51 Tests reaping 4698 runs at 58.72. There's now the possibility Smith's average of 61.47 may not have to be the high-water mark #AUSvWI
