Hey everyone, just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced something like this (especially women 40+ like myself).

All of my issues started when I got the Moderna booster. I took the first Moderna shot and had no side-effects (except for the "Moderna Rash" at the injection site), took the second Moderna shot and literally just had a day and a half of the expected side-effects (Fever, joint pain). When I got the Moderna booster, I was literally sick as a dog for about 2 weeks straight. I had joint pain, fever, and extreme weakness. I remember that I had a physical due at the end of the two weeks, and after my blood work came back, my CRP and Sed Rate were very high. My doctor said it could have been the booster, and it should go back down over time.

3 months later, I start having high heart-rate issues. Normally, my resting heart-rate is between 60-70-my heart-rate was like 100BPS+. I had a high heart-rate for a few days because I felt very bad chest pains and my heart "skipping" a beat while resting. This was all new and abnormal for me, so I went to the ER. They thought I was having a panic attack, but I was having no mental symptoms of one. I was sent home with Hydroxine for panic attacks. I was still having the same issues, even on the medication, so I went back and forth to the ER about 4 times total. They checked my EKG and that was normal (along with cardiac enzymes). They did all of the "Standard" tests and they could not find it. I was told that a contrast-dye test would be the only way to really confirm it. I was sent to the cardiologist for an EKG/echocardiogram (all normal), the contrast-dye however found the damage.

I'm just wondering if there are any older women who have gotten myocarditis from this? I was told time and time again in the ER that it only happened to younger men, but I insisted that something wasn't right after I took the booster. I was basically ignored and looked at like I was crazy by the staff whenever I suggested that I might also have myocarditis from the booster.

I am on month 6, post-booster, and I noticed that from time to time, I still get "flair-up" pain from the injection site and symptoms of weakness/shortness of breath/high-heart rate come and go. Does anyone else experience this?

I am very much pro-vaccines, but I have seemed to have had issues only with the "newer" vaccines (Gardasil is another vaccine that I had issues with after the third shot as well). I had a typhoid shot last year, and it was easy as pie (not even pain at the injection site/ 0 side-effects).
