Anyone else getting reports that flu vaccines hurt significantly more than COVID boosters this year? I’ve had multiple people jump out of their chairs from a flucelvax shot, but nobody bats an eye when Moderna goes in by cannibalsloth in WalgreensRx

The real thing I wanna know is about panic attacks. Is there data on this anywhere? I'm absolutely convinced Flucelvax triggered a miserable panic attack relapse for me.

It's very strange. I haven't found much evidence about any of the Covid vaccines, but there's a lot wrt flu vaccines triggering panic attacks. The worst part for me is that I started Dupixent, allergy shots, and got my Omicron booster and flu vaccine all within about a week, so there's basically no way to know what the problem is, so I gotta stop everything. I can't risk this happening again.

That's nuts, I'm so sorry. I might be feeling better, but I don't wanna jinx it. I think vaccines are Wonderful... but I hope someone somewhere is looking into this.

Not at all. Was totally psyched to get it. At worst it's only ever made me kind of sleepy for a day or so before. So strange.

Yup, and then on and off since. I seem to have finally settled back down, hopefully for good this time, but that was not a fun 36 hours. I sent an "adverse event" report to the FDA. Not sure what else I can do.

I've been reading up on this all day, and there appears to maybe (?) be a link between certain versions of the flu vaccine and panic attacks? The past 36 hours have been absolute hell. Just rolling panic attacks, Xanax, sleep, repeat. Taken more Xanax in the past 2 days than in the past 2 years. Got Flucelvax this year as opposed to Fluzone in the past. It pretty much has to be that... nothing else changed...

Again, let me reiterate that I've lost the battle, for what it's worth, but I know that if you let it fester it does only get worse. I didn't have any of that machismo stuff going on, but I just made myself too busy (or too high) to ever address it. Find whatever tools work best for you, and do that. Another hole I fell into a lot was if things were going well for a bit, I'd just sort of hope it would continue that way... and it never did. For me those times were the exception, never the rule.

Exactly. It's nice to forgive that debt, but it totally ignores the real problem, which is that it never should have existed to begin with. And the actual issue starts with the insurance companies...

I'm in a similar situation, just a few years later, and all I can say is to try absolutely everything you can to treat it. Spend all of your money on therapy. I don't mean to scare you, but if you don't treat it aggressively, it will only get worse. I'm realizing this too late.

I don't even know where to start, honestly. It's on one external hard drive. All file types, probably lots of doubles. No real file structure. It's too much stuff to even try a duplicate file finder. Too much to search it and trim it down by deleting extensions I know I don't need. I'm trying to manually go through and find directories I know are junk, but that's barely even making a dent. (Windows)
