So… I’ve loved Robocop my entire life. Love all of it, even the shitty 3rd movie, and the shitty Prime Directives mini series. But one thing always bothers me. Why the fuck did they decide to keep the right hand in the remake?!?! Even Bob Morton said “lose the arm” it’s so out of place.

I just watched this one for the first time, recently. Of course, it’s hilarious but what also struck me was how much care they put into really nailing the 70’s cinema feel. The props, sets, and cinematography were spot-on.

Oh I completely agree with you but I just liked that they eliminated something that wouldn’t be fun: backtracking through a looted area that you already cleared of enemies. In defense of their design, a lot of time it’s a locked door that you unlock from the other side.

I always felt Skyrim did a good job with this in caves. You basically pop out near the beginning when you complete the area. It so convenient and shows how much they cared to design it that way.
