1.) Luka Doncic: (M15.5 1H Points)
Please note that this is FIRST HALF! Pelicans will be short 3 starters tonight, which also means they’ll be thin everywhere. Luka has started off every game this year hot as it gets. He put up 21 points last game against the Grizzlies in the first quarter alone. He’s gone over this line in all games this season. In the last 3 season, Luka has faced the Pels 6 times he’s gone over 4 of those 6 games, and he’s gone over this line in 2 of 2 games in NOLA.
2. Devin Booker: (L4.5 Assists)
Assists are Chris Paul’s job, leave the assists to him. Booker isn’t much of an actual facilitator within this Suns offense, he’s a point scorer, and while he does pass the rock around, it doesn’t lead to assists very often. He’s went over this line only once this season where he got 9. I’m convinced he was on LSD, because Booker never gets 9 assists. (lol) Warriors are one of the top best teams in the league as far as Assists allowed to guards. In 5 games in the past 3 seasons against the Warriors, Booker has only hit the over once on this line. I’m expecting Booker to score a lot of points as usual, and to not get as many assists.
3.) Christian Wood: (M17.5 Points)
I’m going back to take advantage of that depleted Pelicans roster. Pelicans are HORRIBLE against PFs, as we saw 2 nights ago Lauri Markkanen almost drop a 30 burger on them. Wood is used to carrying a much larger role over in Houston, so I feel like every opportunity he gets here in Dallas he tries to make the best of it. He’s coming off of 2 straight 25 point performances, and I think he has 18 in him tonight. This game may blowout early which may hurt him, but I think he’ll be fine.
4.) CJ McCollum: (M12.5 1H Points)
Back to the Pelicans we go! Also note it’s a FIRST HALF line as well! CJ is the Pelicans only hope to keep this one close tonight, and I think that he’ll come through. He hasn’t hit the over on this line once this season, but I believe he will beable to do it tonight. His last 4 games he’s scored 9-11 each first half, that’s with Zion, Brandon Ingram and Herb Jones which all contribute a ton to the offense. With just those 3 out, that leaves AT LEAST 30 points out of the lineup that have to be made up for (In the first half alone) I think CJ picks up around 10 of these points, and gets over 12.5 in the first half of tonight’s contest. In 9 games with out BI, CJ has gone over this first half line in 7 of those games, and 2 of them he scored 10. In 5 of these games, he played at home in NOLA, and went over this line 4/5 of them. Take CH tonight to go over 12.5 first half points.
