I'm a harpist-pianist-writer who helps creatives all over the world find their inspiration, overcome blocks, and confidently share their work with joy. Severe performance anxiety derailed my career for years. An epic exploration into why we create brought me back. I tried almost any modality you can think of to get past stage fright (let your imagination go wild here, it's all true.) Liberation began when I saw a universal pattern behind the creative urge that we can all tap into.
Now I hold a Master's in classical piano performance, a Ph.D. in Music Theory, have multiple recordings, and many other things I once thought impossible. To share my discoveries with other creatives, I developed my Bright Way System (now a book) and founded my Bright Way Guild, where I teach courses, run memberships, and generally do Life as Total Art in all its mess and mysticism.
You'll find me composing, teaching, recording, writing, gardening, reading academic literature, and poring over tarot cards (fave: The Star) and astrological charts (Triple Aquarian, Cancer Rising) most days.
I am an employee for Jetson Electric where I am a product manager for e-bikes. AMA about Jetson e-bikes (including our new Haze e-bike!), my job, or what it's like to work at Jetson.

I am the eldest daughter of hard working-class immigrants from Mexico and El Salvador. I am the first in my family to complete high school and pursue and higher education. As the first, I encountered unique challenges. My lived experiences are what have fueled my passion to pursue a career in mental health.
In my work as a psychologist, I help individuals heal from intergenerational trauma and break intergenerational cycles. I run a virtual practice called Calathea Wellness where I provide therapy and coaching services to clients spanning first-gen and BIPOC communities.
In addition to those services, I contribute to publications like Hip Latina and Wondermind. I also run mental health workshops for Fortune 500 companies across the country—supporting their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging efforts and employee resource group programming.
In my own healing, I have learned to look back at my experiences and understand how special it was that I was my family’s voice in the world. Now, I am working to use my influence and expertise to be the voice for my fellow BIPOC ＆ First Gen folks and to help them find their voice.

Hello! I’m Dr. Vinita Menon, a psychologist specializing in therapy related to ADHD and Autism in adults.This is my first AMA so I am looking forward to it!
I’ve been working online providing therapy to individuals seeking answers to understand their identity and some lifelong concerns they've been carrying. I'm passionate about helping people find answers for themselves and empowering them to find tools that work for them. While I can’t provide therapy on this, I’m happy to answer general questions about ADHD and Autism (both what they are and what they are NOT), effective support, and other mental health issues in general.
