Well it completely depends on the type of league you're in, H2H, Roto, Cats or points etc. For a league that has such strict roster maximums, I'd generally want the max allowed.

EDIT: unless I'm misunderstanding and your roster has 7 P, 3 RP, and 5 SP slots. Then I'm completely off. If you only have 7 P slots and no RP/SP slots on your roster then the 3 RP and 5 SP are the maximums.
