Yep. I care about forward indicators. I care when a large number of people are trying to sell homes but can't sell them. So not only does this case shiller data go all the way back to contracts signed in March, it's so incomplete when the market is shifting the way it is with unsold inventory, it's basically meaningless.

it is how it works. more homes are failing to sell and not being recorded in the data. there are a ton of homes in downward price discovery mode (tons of listings being pulled to be relisted and contribute to the avalanche of inventory that will hit next spring)

sales prices are the last shoe to drop. it's hard to argue that the market is anywhere but in the toilet right now. sales volume is extremely low, inventory is constantly rising, the percentage of homes having their prices cut or being pulled without selling is historically high, etc.

This is more a display of mcvay's willingness to use his roster in unconventional ways compared to other coaches. Having kupp return kicks did not mean he wouldn't get 12 targets per game, and having kyren return (fair catch) kicks doesn't mean he won't get 20 touches per game.
