Questioning a pre-built PC "upgrade"/value: help?

I think only the one slot has the NVME support. I would assume it's the one I'm in now/the old one was

I believe that it has the nvme support, but won't say I 100% know. Mobo is Legend Steel 8450, using the included Body Armor M.2 heatsink it came with (just above the GPU)

The new one I bought is a WD Black SN770 1TB. Not sure what the old one was, Dataram is all that it says on it (also 1TB)

As said, neither has/would show up anywhere... Not in BIOS, Command Prompt, or Windows Installation via USB

It could be possible the one failed and the brand new one is a dud, I wish I had a way to test that but I don't really know anybody locally for that.

It wouldn't surprise me to be the MOBO though, as it did lose USB power to one of my ports a month or two ago.

Yeah like I said, I powered on my PC, it ran for a few minutes before getting the error, been using this PC/SSD for a few years now

Wish I know somebody around locally I could test one or both of these SSD on then, I don't have a second computer to test them on

I guess the only two options would be buy a SATA SSD or replace the entire motherboard?

Ugh. Frustrating PC problems, need advice:

I got home from work today and when I got on my PC, ended up getting a "memory management" BSOD... am now stuck in an Automatic Repair (failure) loop.

So I go into the CMD prompt (from recovery screen) to try stuff like ChkDsk and... My drive (D:) that has Windows on it has turned into a RAW drive... I ASSUME this is the cause of the issue?

Wondering where I go from here... Do I trust the SSD moving forward? According to DISKPART>LIST VOL, the drive is "healthy"...

I assume I'm going to have to reinstall windows either way... Any way to backup anything from the drive? (I THINK I only mostly have Windows Software and games installed) and I assume yes, but my secondary HDD should be safe from anything I need to do to fix this, right?

Been playing (dedicated) for a looooong time. Rarely waste any NRG / don't let it accumulate, so I only use Pots when I want to get something out of the way, or need some last minute grinding

I have 0 copies of either (I -think- I can EX1 both of them though as I bought their Frags w/VIP), Roberta is EX3 already so don't need her, and have EX1 Esther (just in case it's relevant)

Well IIRC, the only 100% LB Materia that I have is Chow's... Didn't pull Sora or the DQ character that had really high LB damage, so I might still go with that.

Was debating on pulling in general, but 28k (about half of my lapis) for something really good and "on banner rates" for Esther/Slyvie is very very enticing

So uh, anybody know what all the Signet of Will effects are? Got enough to put the additional effect on, but have 0 idea what any of them do (besides chain cap up) because the Wiki doesn't have any additional info (or I missed it) on any of them... And of course, in-game info is useless when it comes to these.

So, before maintenance tonight (technically tomorrow but still), what/how far are we upgrading with the Materials that we steal from the Leone Sterne fight?

I don't feel like I've run the event that much, and I upgraded a weapon to +1 (and it disappeared from Enhance list after that), so just want to make sure I have everything fully upgraded before the event goes away...
