i wish i could upload faster/more often but i have been busy & tired. i did make a number of small updates today though! including links to VPN leak checks, where to find roms and emulators, more torrenting sites, and a small dictionary section that has VERY SIMPLE definitions of some words that i used.
Just wanted to say I know this feeling. Growing up neurodivergent with people who didn’t or wouldn’t or couldn’t understand taught me that my anger and frustration was a monster I needed to keep under lock and key. No one could know. They’d think I was a freak or worse. They would never understand. I had so much trouble dealing with those emotions. To this day frustration feels like flaming wasps under my skin, embers in my guts. And I’ve seen what my rage can do.
That being said: anger isn’t a monster. Anger -and all emotions for that matter- is simply a feedback mechanism. Anger’s roots are in pain, fear, injustice, disgust. Your anger wants to protect you. It can’t always do it well, in fact most of the time it can make things worse. But it can never get better if you treat it like a monster: eventually you can’t distinguish healthy, righteous anger meant to protect you from anger based in stress or fear or misunderstanding. You have to sit with it, make it tea, and listen.
You cannot fully know yourself if you only see your anger as a monster. It isn’t alien, nor is it inherently bad: It’s a feeling. It may be uncomfortable, but it will pass. And if you learn to listen, you might be able to hear what it’s telling you and fix the problem instead of jailing the symptom.

$28 for a single head of cabbage. Baby formula can be upwards of 55 dollars. And when you’re that far up north, being vegan is a LUXURY that virtually no one can afford. They need PROTEIN. They need fuel to survive. And a whale carcass can provide WEEKS, if not a couple MONTHS of food for a community. That is an insane amount of time, and he did his community an incredible service by killing that whale.

It’s worth mentioning here that the species of whale he killed was not endangered, and that the whale had a far better life than factory farmed animals/fish, and that if you want to make a difference to the lives of animals, there are SO many more effective ways you could go about that than go after very poor indigenous people who’ve been oppressed for centuries and have no other realistic way of feeding themselves.
