Plot: An honest, colorful, sometimes bitter comedy about the frustrations of owning your own business. C.B.D.: The Comic Book Diaries is the story of John Burns and Pete Reynoso. Two owners of a struggling comic book store where nothing at all seems to sell, relationships end in the worst possible manner, employees are fired for smoking pot behind the store, shoplifters are abused before being set free and even the artists are quite literally dying. Has financial salvation for John and Pete arrived at last in the form of out-of work, has been, comic book artist Nick Levine? Will Nick's latest independent comic, entitled "Wargasm", finally put his career back on the right track? How much can Pete really charge people for the comic book of a now deceased, once famous artist? Anyone who has ever worked in retail, hung out in a comic book store, owned their own business, or seen their once loved hobby turned upside down in the name of commercialism will empathize with John and Pete's uphill battle to remain friends and somehow keep their business afloat.

Plot: The story, bearing some resemblance to the Fight Club, is about an organized underground fight ring run by four bosses. Primarily, the audience is wealthy, bored executives. As they become jaded by watching these brutal fights, and betting becomes boring, the bosses realize that they need to take the fights to a new limit. Not all the fights, just enough to keep the audience, and the money coming back. Suk, a Korean martial artist, brought up by the organization since early childhood, is the man they trust to fight these 'special' matches. Though the bosses killed his father, he is loyal to them and is considered family. He is increasingly tormented by his conscience as the new order of the day is revealed. To the outside, he is a faithful servant and a fierce protector of the organization, but inside he is full of doubt. When investigative reporter, Chase Somete and her team are on a trail of uncovering this organized fight ring, Suk is torn between protecting the only family he knows, and defending the person who can bring him down.

Plot: In the near future, civilisation has broken down to the barest fragment of recognisable life. Young people are forming gangs and dominating the wrecks of cities like London. But the strangest Earth-children are the Planet people, following plumb-bobs to sacred sites, waiting to be "Taken Up". Professor Quatermass, seeking his granddaughter, teams up with Joe Kapp, who is trying to analyse strange signals from space using the last working pieces of electronic equipment. They find the Planet People at a nearby stone circle, a light appears, the signal appears, - and the hippy children are gone. Russian plot? Nirvana? Or something altogether more sinister?
