The New Deal was a series of domestic programs enacted in the United States between 1933 and 1938, and a few that came later. They included both laws passed by Congress as well as presidential executive orders during the first term (1933–1937) of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The programs were in response to the Great Depression, and focused on what historians refer to as the "3 Rs," Relief, Recovery, and Reform: relief for the unemployed and poor, recovery of the economy to normal levels, and reform of the financial system to prevent a repeat depression.
The New Deal produced a political realignment, making the Democratic Party the majority (as well as the party that held the White House for seven out of nine Presidential terms from 1933 to 1969), with its base in liberal ideas, the South, traditional Democrats, big city machines, and the newly empowered labor unions and ethnic minorities. The Republicans were split, with conservatives opposing the entire New Deal as an enemy of business and growth, and liberals accepting some of it and promising to make it more efficient. The realignment crystallized into the New Deal Coalition that dominated most presidential elections into the 1960s, while the opposition Conservative Coalition largely controlled Congress from 1937 to 1963. By 1936 the term "liberal" typically was used for supporters of the New Deal, and "conservative" for its opponents. From 1934 to 1938, Roosevelt was assisted in his endeavours by a "pro-spender" majority in Congress (drawn from two-party, competitive, non-machine, Progressive, and Left party districts). As noted by Alexander Hicks, "Roosevelt, backed by rare, non-Southern Democrat majorities—270 non-Southern Democrat representatives and 71 non-Southern Democrat senators—spelled Second New Deal reform." In the 1938 midterm elections, however, Roosevelt and his liberal supporters lost control of Congress to the bipartisan Conservative Coalition.
New Deal was a registeredpolitical party in the United Kingdom. Its founder was Professor Alan Sked, who also founded the UK Independence Party (UKIP).
Policies of the New Deal party included 'direct and transparent democracy' and 'liberal values without prejudice to race, religion, gender, etc." New Deal has been labelled the 'leftwing version of UKIP'.
New Deal is described by its founder, Professor Alan Sked, as a centre-left political party, committed to withdrawal from the European Union. He criticises UKIP as turning into "...a far-right and what I think is an extremist and racist party".
The term "New Deal", first used by US president Franklin D. Roosevelt, was also used by Tony Blair's government from 1997 to describe changes to welfare and unemployment policy.
As of March 2015, the party has been de-registered by Electoral Commission for having never fielded a single candidate in any election. The party boycotted the 2014 European Elections.
New Deal (French: Nouvelle Donne) is a political party in France. It was founded on 18 November 2013 by Pierre Larrouturrou. Its aiming at renewing how democracy is used, and has social, ecological and economical goals, which could be defined as left wing.
In the wake of the 2012 French presidential election, the "Collectif Roosevelt" was launched to promote 15 propositions to all the candidates, which had been signed into a manifesto by over 100,000 people. After François Hollande's victory, Pierre Larrouturrou and Stéphane Hessel chose to put these ideas to vote within the Parti Socialiste (PS) at the Toulouse meeting, which was to elect the new leader of the party. However, their motion obtained only 11.78% of the votes, ranking it third.
Following these events, Pierre Larrouturrou announced the creation of the New Deal party, effectively leaving the Socialist Party, on November 28, 2013. The party was named after the New Deal, the political program of which its name is the translation in French, launched by Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1930s to get the United States out of the Great Depression. New Deal is remarking that a very low economic growth has been the norm for a generation, and is postulating that the actual crisis is the result of inequalities of economic redistribution, in terms of wealth and working time. For instance, it's proposing the revision of fiscal policies and the division of labour, though reducing working time. Those policies would be sustained by a keynesian economics set of policies, based on ecological needs.

Deal is the Greek version of Deal or No Deal. It airs on ANT1 and it broadcast in the 2006 spring. It is hosted by Costas Karistinos, who also hosts the Greek version of Fort Boyard on Star Channel. There are 22 boxes held by 22 potential contestants coming from various Greek prefectures. Each episode ultimately features one contestant.
During the first round, players answer a multiple choice question and the day's contestant is selected randomly among those who answered correctly. Comin back keepin it real
Yes it's the new deal
I don't smoke the buddah
But i still listen to the
Hill
Gonna rise to the top
Gonna pursue with the crew
That's what we're gonna do
On and on til dawn
Or til i yawn
We're gonna wreck it
Outside of the club
Yo man come in and check it
Some skaboobidibobidi shit
That's gonna hit
Slammin and jammin and bammin
Are you understandin?
You only live once
So why are you so mad?
Many people would die
For half of what you have
You only live one time
So fuck it
Go ahead and buy it
Everybody sound that funky horn
Because that's the way
That i like it
Flowin with the rhyme
That's seepin' through your ear
Even though i throw it hard
You ain't got nothin' to fear
It's just the sweet sweet sound
Of the horn melody
We're keepin' the shit true
Yes, we live in reality
I got no one to impress
The way that dress
I just express
My feelings and emotions
No stress
I live life day by day
That's the way i can cope
No dope
In my vein
Or seepin' to the brain
Love the people
For who they are inside
Be aware of the beauty
They provide
On the outside
Television's tellin' me a dream
It's unclear to me
You know i just can't see
Deceit and lies
Is livin' in their eyes
Sittin' pretty makin' millions
While we struggle to get by
It's all good though
I musn't complain
I believe it's decided
