Description:

The Museum will open its doors after hours so you can enjoy Nick Cave – the exhibition at night. If one exhibition is not enough, why not pop into the Art Gallery of Western Australia for an after hours viewing of the new exhibition Thing – beware the material world.

Description:

Think you know all there is to know about Nick Cave?

Get your team together (tables of eight) and delve deep into your collective memories to recall the life and times of Nick Cave, The Bad Seeds, The Birthday Party, Grinderman and so much more. [Smaller groups and individuals will be seated together – first come first served.]

The NickWiz will feature great prizes and a few surprises. Kindly supported by RTR FM, The Good Guys – Cannington, Captain Cook Cruises, EMI, 78 Records, Penguin Publication, the Vic brewery and Trax Music.

Come early to see Nick Cave – the exhibition from 5.30pm.

Description:

Join us for an interactive workshop exploring the process of making music where you will create and record a song. No musical experience required!

This workshop focuses on the process of recording, and has been designed to enhance students’ visits to the exhibition.

Suitable for Year 8 – 12 classes.

Presented in partnership with Central TAFE – Music Industry Training and the West Australian Music Assoc. Inc.
