GoldHelpfulWholesomeAll-Seeing UpvoteNarwhal Salute

Hello Reddit!!

I’m William MacAskill (proof: picture and tweet) - one of the early proponents of what’s become known as “effective altruism”. I wrote the book Doing Good Better (and did an AMA about it 7 years ago.)

I helped set up Giving What We Can, a community of people who give at least 10% of their income to effective charities, and 80,000 Hours, which gives in-depth advice on careers and social impact. I currently donate everything above £26,000 ($32,000) post-tax to the charities I believe are most effective.

I was recently profiled in TIME and The New Yorker, in advance of my new book, What We Owe The Future — out this week. It argues that we should be doing much more to protect the interests of future generations.

I am also an inveterate and long-time Reddit lurker! Favourite subreddits: r/AbruptChaos, r/freefolk (yes I’m still bitter), r/nononoyes, r/dalle2, r/listentothis as well as, of course r/ScottishPeopleTwitter and r/potato.

If you want to read What We Owe The Future, this week redditors can get it 50% off with the discount code WWOTF50 at this link.

AMA about anything you like![EDIT: off for a little bit to take some meetings but I'll be back in a couple of hours!]

[EDIT2: Ok it's 11.30pm EST now, so I'd better go to bed! I'll come back at some point tomorrow and answer more questions!]

[EDIT3: OMFG, so many good questions! I've got to head off again just now, but I'll come back tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon EST)]

Hi! I was born with complete uterus didelphys, I posted almost 2 years ago about living with 2 vaginas (I submitted personal medical records and I have a photo of both of my uteruses taken during my c-section ill post, you can also look me up and see for yourself my level of mutation is extremely rare).

I have two vaginas, two cervix, two uterus and one ovary on each side. They are completely independent of each other. One labia when I open i have two holes a right and left one and my urethra is in the centre of the two holes. Sort of like 2 eyes or a shotgun.

Being a sex worker, I managed to use one for work and one for my private life which was handy. I have two periods (at the same time) I can have sex in either or both and I can fall pregnant in either or both. I had my first baby June 2022 and my second June 2022. The second was a surprise- but thats what happens when we make porn for a living haha. Both from my right uterus via scheduled c-section. High risk pregnancy with tiny babies due to extremely small uteruses, both needed special care. Im very blessed to have them.

My husband Matt and I make adult videos with my 2 vaginas, he was the one who suggested we start this a couple of years ago- I was very reluctant but ended up really enjoying it. We were once a monogamous couple and now thats drastically changed. From family opinions, judgement, selling our intimacy has changed and challenged our our relationship. Watching your significant other with someone else challenges your values, jealousy, strength.

We actually fell pregnant the first time while filming a FFFM foursome with my 2 close girlfriends which is crazy!

We filmed adult content through out both pregnancies which was really tough, specifically for him as he didn't find my body attractive during this period. That was a challenge in itself.

We are so often asked about our life, juggling two very small babies, making porn and sustaining a semi-healthy semi-monogamous relationship. Ask us anything

PROOF- photo taken during my c-section of both of my uteruses. The large one had my baby in it, the small one is the size of my uteruses normally. I'll also re-submit my medical records to admin stating i have complete uterus didelphys which is 2 of everything.
