Key Protections
Our policy is designed to make selling on Artsy via credit card painless and safe. We offer:
- Fraud protection guarantee. In the event of a fraudulent chargeback or dispute, Artsy will cover your losses up to $100,000.
- Fraud prevention technology. We use proprietary, industry-leading monitoring and fraud prevention processes to stop fraud before it takes place.
- Advanced identity checks. To comply with international regulations, Artsy performs identity checks on qualifying transactions using over 50 watch list databases.
- Access to our Trust and Safety team. Partners have direct access to our in-house fraud prevention and security experts.

Artworks must be sold on-platform through Buy Now or Make Offer. All communication with a buyer must take place through Artsy. Shipping must be through an international, recognized carrier with available tracking information and a signature required for delivery. You must provide proof on request. If available, you are required to take a return as coverage for your loss, and in the case of fraud Artsy will cover your shipping costs and/or a restocking fee. |
