There is exactly ONE known one in the universe, currently held at the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. Given that they can turn it on and open the portal strongly suggests that there is a second Stargate. They don’t like using the CMC Stargate because every time they open the portal, the complex is subjected to a high-pressure torrent of seawater, mud, hagfish, giant isopods and very irate crabs, which suggests that the second stargate is somewhere at the bottom of the ocean and FUCK going down there to get it. There’s all kinds of awful shit at the bottom of the ocean. Like volcanoes! and Godzilla! the last thing Colorado Springs needs is fucking Godzilla.
