Repair1950s era power switch. Rated 40 amp, 250 volts, DPST. Worked fine then this week it decided to get stuck in the on position. Tapped it a few times, then it went off. Next time on it would not turn off. Removed and looked it over. Appears to be sticking. If I help it, then it works. Clean? Lube? (i.redd.it)

QuestionI have an Ender 3 3D printer and a spare dinky Android phone. The ender 3 has a female Micro USB slot. If I were to splice a wire to have Micro USB on both ends, would that be risking short circuiting? IDK if the firmware would communicate, but I'm willing to test if frying isn't a risk.
